Why did you decide to work in Japan (instead of finding a job in your home country)? Additionally, why did you choose to join Belc?
My decision to work in Japan was influenced by the abundance of opportunities in both the workplace and the quality of life. In India, where there is a large pool of engineers, I felt my potential was not being fully realized. Japan, on the other hand, offered a demand for engineers, providing me with an environment where I could grow, innovate, and expand my skills. Additionally, I chose Belc because it is a company dedicated to helping people. I was particularly inspired by Belc's theme, "Better Living With People". as it resonated with my long-standing desire to contribute to society through my work.
What is your current job after joining Belc?
I am currently developing applications that will be used by people who work at the store. I aim to build applications that would make labour intensive work easier by giving them easier methods of documentation. I use technologies like React and Dotnet and work with databases using PostgreSQL.
Can you tell me about the interesting and challenging aspects of your work?
My vision for the future is to become an engineer who can develop and contribute to any project or initiative that the company needs. I am motivated by Belc’s commitment to supporting its employees in all aspects of life, and I aim to be an engineer who adds value to their investment. In addition to developing my technical skills, I am eager to continue learning new technologies and staying updated with the latest trends in the tech industry. Personally, I am also looking forward to building a long-term life in Japan, as I enjoy the lifestyle and experiences I have had here so far.
Do you have a vision for the future?
My vision is to make Belc independent of external systems and reduce reliance on other companies for their solutions. I aim to develop highly user-friendly applications and foster a positive and empowering environment.

To everyone who is considering working in Japan, I would like to say that it is a wonderful place to build your career. As foreigners working at Belc, we have received tremendous support and comfort from the company, which has taken great care of us in many ways.
